Access to Rural Mental Health Services
ARMS Reach Project

ARMS Reach is a rural mental health outreach program provided by the Mental Health Association of the New River Valley in collaboration with the New River Health District, the New River Valley Agency on Aging. VRHRC provides the evaluation of ARMS Reach.

The project provides free mental health outpatient counseling and medication assessments to uninsured or underinsured,
low-to-moderate income residents, at accessible locations in rural communities throughout the New River Valley.
